Bead Hoarders Blog Hop

SO... today is the day for Lori Andersons " Bead Hoarder's Blog Hop".  As always, Lori has tantilized our imagination after our Bead Soup Blog Party for one additional Blog Hop for all of those Bead Hoarder's out there........  Way to go Lori!

It was a tad difficult to contemplate " Bead Hoarding " as a Bead Embroider.  But as I positively adore working in Vintaj Brass, I gave it a go:

The first piece is a lovely Sea Design from sunny Florida, using Vintaj Brass and a few odd's and end beads I have had stashed in the closet.  Sea Blue of course.
This piece was inspired by a article in Stringing, and it just took off with Charms and Vintaj Brass pieces.  My first go with my new Bail Pliers.

A Five Strand RAW ( Right Angle Weave ) piece.  This bracelet was due to a miss order where I ended up with ( 300 ) Three Hundred 4mm Bicones of the wrong color..... LOL!  I just could not send them back, so TaDa......a five strand bracelet that sit's charmingly on the wrist.

And Lastly,

I had recieved a charming crucifix as a gift and had just ordered a lovely rosary chain.....  I could not be happier.

I hope you'll pour some coffee, pull up your footstool and enjoy visiting the following " Bead Hoarders" as they WOW you with their newest treasures for their Hoarded Stash.  Thank you Lori for allowing us to play
with our beads and I look forward to our next adventure.

  1. Being in in Florida you know I love the sea blue necklace, and must say: Fantastic Job for some one who doesn't have "much" of a hoard!

  2. Oh trust me you can hoard seed beads :-) I love what you did with your beads - that 5 strand bracelet is gorgeous!!

  3. Love that bracelet!

  4. The sea blue necklace with the little seahorse is just so lovely!

  5. Hi Catherine! I love what you created. The first set with the necklace and earrings is perfect for the summertime!

  6. Such beautiful creations! Wonderful!

  7. Beautiful work - I especially love that seahorse necklace!

  8. I like all of your pieces Catherine. The first necklace is my favorite.

  9. I love the necklace with the seahorse ,beautiful.

  10. Wow, that bracelet must have taken forever ! I don't think I'd have that kind of patience !

  11. Lovely work! I really enjoyed looking at the pieces you created. :)

  12. What lovely pieces you have created from your stash! I especially like the RAW bracelet - beautiful work! :)

  13. Wow you make beauty with your beading on the main page picture and your bracelet!
Love the inventiveness of your necklace too..

  14. There's a lot to see in your pictures, so beautiful...your 'miss order' turned out great! Must be great to wear with a white dress...Have a nice ☼ summer ☼!

  15. Oh I love that crucifix necklace. Something so serene about your colour choices.

  16. Um, well, I've HEARD you can hoard seed beads. Not that I would ever do that, no sirree. But I've HEARD of folks who do.... :)

  17. Beautiful pieces, love the 5 stand bracelet, sometimes miss orders work out so well!

  18. Catherine, your work is lovely, I have a special fondness for crosses and crucifixes... so happy Lori has enabled me to meet many new-to-me artists!

  19. Your creations are lovely. What a beautiful crucifix necklace!

  20. I'm in awe with your designs. Your work is so lovely.

  21. Thank you all for your lovely comments...I love how this miss-order turned out. Maybe, fate was with me. I've just completed a three strand in sea blues and I know I'll have to make more of those being in Florida.

Thanks again to all of our incredible artists.

  22. Looks like the mis-order was a blessing in disguise.

  23. Great pieces. Especially love the bracelet!

  24. Your designs are really great!! I love that first set. It's romantic but not too fru-fru. Perfect!

  25. I love them all, but that cross is REALLY speaking to me. I wore a tiny cross the entire time I was in the military overseas, and my MAKURaku cross I showed in my stash is going to be hung in my house. Lovely work!

Thanks, too, for being kind about my being late in hopping. I hope you'll participate again!

  26. Great pieces especially if you didn't have much of a hoard! really love the sea design in the first one :)
