As always, thank you Lisa for keeping us stimulated and just darn stumped at times.
As you know, stringing is not my forte, I am a Bead Embroiderer and Bead Weaver so as I looked at my " goodie " bag from Lisa. I was stumped and during May.....really stumped. My little goody bag was in a colorway that I usually do not associate with Ocean colors. Floridian here. Looked at a little embroidery, " Nope ". Hum! What to do.
With the colors recieved and components recieved it was going to have some wire wrapping
( which I am a little weak in )......out came the copper wire and it started coming together.
The first piece was a wrapped and strung necklace:
I am in love with the Cultured Seaglass shells. And one could not have a necklace without a
bracelet.... on a roll with wrapping leather bracelets, this one came together nicely:
Then of course a lovely set of earrings. The starfish were wonderful to work with and the cultured seaglass just fit right in.
I think I will be visiting ZNet for more Cultured Sea Glass. Being a Floridian has me looking at working with the colors of the Ocean with these components.
I would like to thank Lisa for choosing such a wonderful theme with this blog hop. We need to spend time thinking about the health of our Oceans and the abundant life it holds. We would be a poorer World without the diversity of sea life and water.
Now, join me in Hopping through our participants and don't forget the First Reveal group which is accessible from Lisa's page. First link above.
